Sign the petition to have 5 County Commissioners for increased representation
What does the petition say?
Our petition drive is about choice! We are seeking the opportunity to ask voters whether there should be three or five commissioners. Here is what our petition says:
β
1. Shall the membership of the Boulder County Board of Commissioners be increased from a three member board to a five member board? (Yes No)
2. If the membership of the Boulder County Board of Commissioners is increased from a three member board to a five member board, by what method shall the Boulder County Board of Commissioners be elected? (Vote for One)
a. Five commissioners resident in districts to be elected only by voters resident in the district; or
b. Three commissioners resident in districts to be elected only by voters resident in the district; plus two commissioners resident in any district to be elected by voters of the whole county.
