The city and county have released the recommended Boulder Valley Comprehensive Plan following updates based on community feedback to the draft plan received earlier this spring. Staff reviewed hundreds of comments on the draft plan and incorporated much of that input into the recommended version, which will be considered for adoption by the four decision-making bodies throughout June.
Updates to the recommended plan include:
Updated language for clarity and consistency throughout the document
Key revisions to policies that are aligned with community feedback and policymaker direction
Refinements to the Future Land Use Map
An expanded chapter on Implementation offering more insight into next steps of how the plan moves from policy to action
The meeting will be on June 4th at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers at 1777 Broadway in Boulder. People can access the agenda and packet materials at this link: https://bouldercolorado.primegov.com/public/portal
The recommended plan will be presented to the four decision making bodies at public hearings followed by deliberations in June. Community members may sign up to speak directly to policymakers at these hearings.
